Animations from the Open Weekend event. Now live.
Stop-motion animations done at the 25th of July open event are going live on http://www.jednet.co.uk/soco.html
Ok, so the latest Creative Hub event is now over. And it was great.
Please pass on photos and comments to culturalolympiad2010@gmail.com – or add to the facebook page (see link on the right-hand side of this blog).
But the blog will stay ‘live’. It’s going to concentrate on other ‘community’ based Southampton events, in the ‘Hub’ and around the city, for example The Bundle Day.
So keep watching!
(By the way, any thoughts or comments on anything cultural in Southampton will be posted on this site. Just email them to the above address).
Ta!
Send your photos of and comments about today (Sunday 25 July) event at the Creative Hub to:

Top poet Steve Tasane will be performing and running family poetry workshops from around lunchtime on Sunday at the Creative Hub.
Check these links for a flavour of his work (two totally different pieces, these, but both excellent):
Performance poetry organisation Apples and Snakes says: “The first poem, Human Touch, originates from Steve’s work as Associate Artist for the Live Literature Consortium.
The second poem’s Grumblebum character originates from a residency with Rosemary Harris for Bexley Playbuilders Scheme – brought to life so vividly by Year 5, St Paul’s School, London E1.
These two radically different films are being posted/published virally over Summer 2010 by Apples & Snakes, Lyric Lounge, Poetry Can, Spread The Word, Survivors Poetry and Write Out Loud, to reach tens of thousands of poetry lovers simultaneously.”
